State Forest Resource Management Plan - 2007 Update Document

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Forestry is pleased to announce an update to the State Forest Resource Management Plan (SFRMP). This set of proposed revisions reflects upon the bureau's implementation of the plan, which was last revised in 2003, as well as new directions for the future. The proposed SFRMP revisions are available in several formats accessible by the links below.

Public involvement is a critical component of the Bureau of Forestry's planning process. Nine public meetings were held during September and October 2007. Comments were also collected electronically via the internet. The public comment period closed October 31, 2007 . The summary of public comments is available below. Thank you for your interest in the management of Pennsylvania 's State Forests.
