FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
During the hustle and bustle that describes summer at Sizerville State Park, we could forget that a key element of the entire process is the selfless efforts put forth by those individuals that donate their time and labors in order to increase the quality, efficiency and enjoyment of the many experiences at the park for everyone concerned.
This year, Sizerville State Park had the good fortune of meeting and working with two new volunteers, Bryan and Evelyn Goodrow from Bellefonte, PA. Serving as campground hosts, the Goodrows put forth a stellar effort in helping us maintain the campground and serve as DCNR liaisons to park visitors. Their volunteerism and good humor are gratefully appreciated. We hope that they found their service to the people of the Commonwealth rewarding and that they will return next year to Sizerville.
Another longtime volunteer and supporter of environmental education is Emporium resident Linda Pizzella. Linda's varied talents and enthusiasm while assisting with school and youth groups has enhanced the quality and scope that students receive in their outdoor learning experiences at the park. Once again Linda, thanks for your time and energy. The park staff as well as area students and teachers owe you a debt of gratitude.
