Creating Sustainable Lands
The built landscape can be designed and maintained in an environmentally-friendly manner, while also saving money and time. Sustainable lands are those that balance the needs of people and communities with natural resource protection. Through Sustainable Lands Partnerships across Pennsylvania, DCNR is working with local non-profits, municipal officials and businesses to make sure both public and private lands are protected and enhanced.
