Maps
DCNR produces more maps than any other state agency. Our Pennsylvania Geological Survey is also loaded with geologic, topographic and aerial photos. Also find maps of each state park, state forests, snowmobile trails, and ATV trails, rail-trails, scenic rivers, major greenway corridors, heritage areas, the Deer Management Assistance Program, and county rock types.

GIS
Familiar with Google Earth? DCNR’s PAMAP provides the imagery for Google’s Pennsylvania images. The Pennsylvania Geological Survey also has GIS data for spatial analysis and geographic information.

Volunteering
Volunteers provide DCNR with thousands of hours of service each year, worth millions of dollars. Find out how you can get involved with your public lands through our Conservation Volunteer Program, DCNR also offers specialized volunteer opportunities through our Cooperative Geologist Program, and Search and Rescue Program.
