Camp sites in the Bald Eagle State Forest

Choose a camp site from the four described below. Once you have made your choice, return to the online permit application form, and enter the State Forest and Camp # you have selected. Complete the remainder of the form, and then click the submit button.

There are many more camp sites available within the Bald Eagle State Forest. Permits and maps can be obtained by contacting the district office.

  Comments: Tent site is hidden from road by small hardwoods, conifers and laurel.

Camp site # 46 - Treaster Valley Road Detailed Information
  Comments: Tent site is hidden from road by small hardwoods, conifers and laurel.

Camp site # 63 - Hoofnagle Road Detailed Information
  Comments: 0.1 mile from Penns Creek Valley trail. 1.1 mile from stream at Twin Springs on Hoofnagle Rd. Campsite is very level and surrounded by white pine and laurel

 

Camp site # 9- Cooper Mill Road Detailed Information
  Comments: Good site for small camper or tents. Stream nearby. Surrounded by hardwoods and laurel.
