Pennsylvania's 2.2 million acre state forest system is open to hunitng.

Hunting is one of the most popular activites on state forest land.  From spring gobbler season to small game and white-tailed deer, state forests have something to offer every sporting enthusiast.

If you are planning to hunt deer on the Bald Eagle, Rothrock or Susquehannock state forests, you may need to register your license as part of a research project with the Pennsylvania Game Commission. Registration is free and available here.
