Colonel Denning State Park

This loop trail is easy hiking with two low hills about a mile in length. The trail follows Doubling Gap Run in a mature forest with an abundance of wildlife. There are approximately 18 miles of trails in Colonel Denning State Park.

Directions

Take exit 37 (Newville) from I-81. Take Rt. 233 north for 12.9 miles to Colonel Denning State Park. Go another 0.6 mile to the parking area and the Doubling Gap Nature Trail. For more information, call (717) 776-5272.
