This section of Weiser State Forest has many interconnected footpaths, snowmobile trails, and gravel roads. Loop hikes from 2.5 to 15 miles in length are possible. Snowmobile trails are generally grass or gravel covered with gentle grades, while footpaths are narrower and the terrain is sometimes more rocky. All of the trails are quiet and remote, traversing deep woods. The Minnich Springs Picnic Area has restrooms, picnic tables and grills.

Take Rt. 322 to Rt. 225. Go north on Rt. 225 for 8 miles to S.R. 4013. Turn right toward Carsonville. Go 8.8 miles and at the Carsonville Hotel, turn left. Go 1.2 miles to White Oak Rd. Turn left and go 2.9 miles to Minnich Springs picnic area. For more information, call (570) 385-7800.
