Backpacking

Currently, there are four parks that allow backpacking and overnight hikes -- Laurel Ridge, Moraine, Oil Creek and Raccoon Creek. These parks provide backpacking trails with overnight trailside shelters or sites. You must pre-register to hike and camp overnight.

Four backpackers enjoy the Appalachian Trail at Caledonia State Park.
