The free pool is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, unless otherwise posted. Depth ranges from three to five feet. Certified lifeguards staff the pool. The pool has an ADA accessible lift.

Hyner Run State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

The large, free swimming pool is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, unless otherwise posted. The hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. There is also a 15 feet by 15 feet wading pool.

Little Pine State Park

A sand beach with grass turf is open from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming.

Lyman Run State Park

The 300-foot sand beach is open from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming. A modern bathhouse with flush toilets, changing rooms, snack bar and boat rental is the centerpiece of the beach area.

Mount Pisgah State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

The swimming pool is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, unless otherwise posted. The hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The pool depth ranges from eight inches to five feet and includes a ramp for people with disabilities. The pool complex contains dressing rooms, showers, restrooms and a lifeguard and first aid station. A snack bar offers food and beverages. Swimming is prohibitted in the lake.

Ole Bull State Park

The beach is in Camping Area 1 across from the picnic area. The 150-foot sandy beach along Kettle Creek is open from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming. Parking for the beach area is provided at the picnic area parking lot.

Parker Dam State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

The beautiful sand beach is open from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules. The maximum water depth is five feet at the buoy line.

Poe Valley State Park

The swimming beach at Poe Lake is open from late May to early September unless otherwise posted. Swimming hours are from 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. The maximum water depth of the swimming area is five feet.

Raymond B. Winter State Park

The swimming beach features 300 feet of white sand. The beach is open from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming. The beach area includes restrooms, dressing facilities, a beach volleyball court and a children’s play area.

Sizerville State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

The free, 105-foot long concrete pool, with an adjacent wading pool, is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, unless otherwise posted. The maximum depth is five feet. There is an ADA lift at the pool.

Blue Knob State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

Weather permitting, the free swimming pool is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, unless posted otherwise. The pool is only open on weekends for the first two weeks of the summer season. Pool depth ranges from 2 to 5 feet. Weekday and evening use is recommended. For visitor safety, diving in the pool is prohibited.

Caledonia State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

The park features a large, ADA accessible swimming pool with a small snack bar. The pool is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. from the second Saturday in June to Labor Day, unless posted otherwise. Fee charged for pool use.

The sand beach is open from May to September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming. Swim at your own risk. The sand beach is 350 feet long and has a grass sunning area and sand play areas. The bathhouse has showers and dressing booths. A snackbar by the swimming beach carries a variety of fast food and drink items.

The pool and sprayground sit on a bluff overlooking Lake Marburg. The pool has a ramp for people with disabilities. The summer hours are 11 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. Fee charged for pool use. Swimmers arriving after 4 p.m. receive a discount. Season passes are available at the park office.

A large, ADA accessible beach in the Quaker Race Day Use Area is open from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming. Boat rental, picnic facilities, snack bar and children’s play area are near the swimming beach.

Greenwood Furnace State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

A 300-foot sand beach is open from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming. A dressing area and restroom are nearby.

Little Buffalo State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

A state-of-the art swimming pool which is nearly half an acre in size sits along Holman Lake. The pool varies in depth from one to five feet and has 17- and 11-foot waterslides and a sprayground. The pool has a capacity of 1,285 swimmers and has a ramp for people with disabilities. The summer hours are 11 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. The pool opens for the Memorial Day weekend then weekends only until the second weekend in June when it begins seven days a week operation until mid-August. Please call the park office for the official opening date and late season schedule. Fee charged for pool use. Swimmers arriving after 4 p.m. receive a discount. Season passes are available at the park office. The pool is very popular and reaches capacity on holidays and many weekends. Mid-week swimming is often less crowded.

Pine Grove Furnace State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

Two beaches are open from May 1 to September 30, from sunrise to sunset. Laurel Beach is swim at your own risk. Fuller Beach is guarded from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and is swim at your own risk other times. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming. Swimmers at Laurel Lake and especially at Fuller Lake are advised to exercise caution because of the extreme depths and cold subsurface waters. In the summer season, a snack bar is available at each beach.

Muskrat Beach is open from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming. A food concession, modern bathhouses, dressing rooms, volleyball courts and a large picnic area are in and around the swimming area. Campers can swim at the Campground Beach in the campground.

The sand and turf beach has modern bathhouses with flush toilets and showers. Vending machines are availble. The beach is open from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk.

The 300-foot sand beach is open from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming. A dressing room, volleyball court and snackbar are at the beach.

A 525-foot sand beach is open from late-May to Labor Day, 8 a.m. to sunset, unless otherwise posted. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming. A bathhouse with showers is near the beach. First aid is available at the park office during the off-season. Recreational scuba diving is prohibited. A food and refreshment concession at the swimming beach is open daily, weather permitting, during the summer season, Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Frances Slocum State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

The swimming pool is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, unless posted otherwise. Fee charged for pool use.

French Creek State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

Swimming is offered at the swimming pool by Hopewell Lake from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, unless otherwise posted. Fee charged for pool use. The pool is near the shore of the lake and provides a beautiful setting for swimmers and sunbathers. Certified lifeguards are on duty when the pool is open. Swimming is prohibited in either lake.

Gouldsboro State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

The sand beach with rustic restrooms is open from the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. Please follow posted rules.

Hickory Run State Park

A sand beach is open from late May to mid- September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming. Swim at your own risk. A snack bar has sandwiches, drinks, ice cream and snacks.

Lackawanna State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

No Swimming in 2014 - The Swimming pool and snack bar will not be available during the 2014 season due to the replacement of the pool. The project will include new shower facilities, food concession, a spray ground/splash zone and zero-entry points for people with disabilities. The pool is expected to reopen sometime in 2015. Swimming is prohibited in the lake. Fee charged for pool use.

Locust Lake State Park

The beach is open from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming. Swimming areas are marked with buoys and have a maximum depth of 5 1/2 feet. Swimmers can buy food and snacks at the campstore/boat rental.

The ADA accessible “L” shaped swimming pool and sprayground attracts many visitors. The guarded pool is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day unless posted otherwise. A snack bar, large grassy area and bathhouse are located at the swimming pool complex. A pavilion is available to rent.

Neshaminy State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

The main pool and children’s spray pool are open from the Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. Regular hours for weekends and holidays are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, unless otherwise posted. Lifeguards are on duty when the pools are open. Fee charged for pool use. Swimming is prohibited in the Delaware River from Neshaminy State Park.

Nockamixon State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

The swimming pool complex includes a one-half acre main pool with two waterslides, a shallow end with fountains for children, dressing rooms, first aid station and snack bar. Weather permitting, the summer hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The pool opens for the Memorial Day weekend then weekends only until the second weekend in June when it begins seven days a week operation. Promised Land State Park

Two sand beaches are open daily from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. The main beach is in the Day Use Picnic Area. The Pickerel Point Beach is on the end of Pickerel Point. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming. There are no lifeguards.

Tobyhanna State Park

The sand beach at Tobyhanna State Park is open from the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. Please follow posted rules. The Tobyhanna bathhouse has flush toilets and changing areas. Showers are available for a fee.

Tuscarora State Park

The sand beach is open from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming. Swimming areas are marked with buoys and have a maximum depth of 5 1/2 feet.

Worlds End State Park

A small dam on Loyalsock Creek forms a swimming beach and area that is open from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day, sunrise to sunset. The mountain stream water is always cold and exhilarating. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules for swimming.

West

The 180-foot sand beach is open from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules. The swimming beach is in a small man-made lake. Soda machines are nearby.

Keystone State Park

A 1,200-foot sand beach is open from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. Please read and follow posted rules. Swimming is only permitted within the designated buoy areas. Maximum depth is five feet. The beach has an ADA accessible ramp to the lake, an ADA accessible beach wheelchair and an ADA accessible restroom. A food concession is available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Moraine State ParkThe ADA symbol indicates that this activity or structure is ADA accessible.

Swimming is permitted at two beaches along the shore of Lake Arthur. The Pleasant Valley Beach on the South Shore is a 1,200-foot turf and sand beach and has a paved path into the water. A sand volleyball court and playground are on the west side of the beach. Lakeview Beach on the North Shore is a 550-foot sand beach. The beaches are open daily from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day unless otherwise posted. The regular hours are sunrise to sunset. Showers, changing facilities and food concessions are available at both beaches.

The sandy beaches, washed by the clear waters of Lake Erie, provide visitors with the only surf swimming within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Beaches are open daily from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day unless otherwise posted. The regular hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Beginning in 2015, smoking is prohibited on Barracks and Beach 11 and in their swimming areas.
