Deluxe Cottages and Yurts

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is represented by this colored map.

This map and charts show where deluxe camping cottages and yurts are in Pennsylvania State Parks.

Deluxe cottages have a bedroom and main room, cooking stove, microwave, refrigerator, countertop, table, chairs, electric heat and outlets, fire ring, picnic table, adjacent water pump, and sleep five or six people in bunk beds.

Yurts are round, on wooden deck and have a cooking stove, refrigerator, countertop, table, chairs, electric heat and outlets, fire ring, picnic table, adjacent water pump, and sleep four or five people in bunk beds.

Deluxe cottages and yurts can be reserved 11 months in advance or as little as three days before the day of arrival. If it is two days or less in advance of a desired arrival date, call the state park you wish to visit and inquire about possible availability. Parks may or may not accommodate short-term requests depending on their operational capabilities. Deluxe cottages and yurts are very popular and it is advisable that reservations be made well in advance.

How to Make a Reservation

Click on this orange dot to make a reservation at a Pennsylvania State Park.

Make an online reservation or call 888-PA-PARKS (888-727-2757), Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM except on the Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day holidays.

Reservations can be made using MasterCard, VISA, American Express, and Discover credit cards, or personal, traveler’s, and cashier’s checks, or Pennsylvania State Parks Gift Card. To receive a confirmed reservation, full payment must be received by the Bureau within ten days of making the reservation.

Changes and Cancellations

Changes to a reservation must be made by calling the Pennsylvania State Parks Reservation Call Center at 888-PA-PARKS (888-727-2757), Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. There is a $10 fee assessed for all changes made to a reservation, except adding nights to the reservation.

Cancellations can be made via the call center or web. Cancellations made up to the close of business seven days prior to your scheduled arrival date will incur a $10 cancellation fee per reservation. If you cancel six days or less prior to the arrival date, you will forfeit the first night’s fee or $75, whichever is the lesser amount.

A $10 fee per reservation is assessed for all changes made to your reservation, except for adding nights to the reservation.

If a reservation receives the weekly discounted rate, any change that results in shortening the stay, will cause the customer to lose the benefit of the weekly rate. A new daily rate will be calculated for the remaining dates, which will affect any amount refunded.

Please note, reservations made at the maximum window (11 months to the day), or with a departure date after the maximum booking window, are not permitted to move or cancel their reservation for 22 days. After 22 days, patrons can change or move their reservation for a $10 transfer fee.

Any cancellation or change on the day of arrival must be made through the state park.
