Risser, Ronald E. Thompson, and Marla H. Stuckey : Regression Method for Estimating Long-Term Mean Annual Ground-Water Recharge Rates from Base Flow in Pennsylvania (October 2008)
• Guide for logging wells. These web pages make recommendations for the logging of wells, and provides rock type maps for each county of Pennsylvania (June 2008)

• In cooperation with the Pennsylvania Geological Survey, the U.S. Geological Survey has released a report on Warren County: USGS Scientific Investigations Report 2006-5263 by Theodore F. Buckwalter and Michael E. Moore: Ground-Water Resources and the Hydrologic Effects of Petroleum Occurrence and Development, Warren County, Northwestern Pennsylvania (September 2007)
• In cooperation with the Pennsylvania Geological Survey, the U. S. Geological Survey (USGS) has developed an online report on groundwater recharge across the state. Recharge rates have been estimated for 197 watersheds throughout Pennsylvania. Recharge estimates are based on two automated streamflow-hydrograph methods. • Also in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Geological Survey, the USGS has released the report Drought-Sensitive Aquifer Settings in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Scientific Investigations Reports (SIR) 2005-5169. (October 2005)
