Welcome to WebDriller! The Internet-based electronic system WebDriller is used by water-well drillers to report water-well construction data to the Pennsylvania Bureau of Topographic and Geologic Survey. The digital process replaces the paper form. Since 1966, the bureau has been responsible for collecting, and making available, information about the construction of water wells in Pennsylvania. Collection and dissemination of these data are major objectives of Act 610, the Water Well Drillers License Act of 1956. Driller use of WebDriller makes it possible for the bureau to share the data with the public to better protect groundwater resources (this is the intent of Act 610). Use of WebDriller also saves taxpayers many thousands of dollars in scanning, data-entry, and paper record storage costs, and makes the data available quickly.
