Description: Map 1 is a regional (1:250,000-scale) map of the bedrock geology of Pennsylvania. It consists of three sheets: one showing geology in the western half of the state, one showing geology in the eastern half of the state, and one showing four northwest-southeast-trending geologic cross sections from across the state.
In addition to the images of the printed publication available here, the bureau has used GIS technology to prepare a digital version of the map, which includes limited updates and changes.
