Description: General report on the geology and groundwater resources of an area of approximately 526 square miles in south-central Pennsylvania (see index map above). The report consists of a 50-page text and 1 plate (geologic map, 1:50,000 scale). Major text topics include the hydrologic system, geologic and water-bearing characteristics of the rock units, and factors that influence the yields of wells.
