Mineral Resource Reports

Description: Below is a list of all of the mineral resource reports published by the Pennsylvania Geological Survey. Mineral resource reports are detailed technical reports on particular occurrences of mineral resources, as well as maps and summaries of regional and statewide data. Most of these reports were released as printed publications, but M 99, M 100, and M 101 were published on CD–ROM. More detailed bibliographic information (including the types of maps and map scales found in some of these reports) is given in the Survey’s list of publications, Pennsylvania Geological Publications.

Availability: All titles in the list below are active links, and clicking a title will initiate the download of a ZIP file that was prepared for the report. In addition, all mineral resource reports can be borrowed from the Survey library or possibly from one of our repository libraries. If you are not near one of these libraries, you can go to a local library and ask the librarian to arrange an interlibrary loan.

GIS Data: Mineral Resource Reports 99, 100, and 101 include ArcInfo export files, ArcGIS shapefiles, and georeferenced map images (GeoTIFFs).
