Wilroy Furnace

The Wilroy Furnace along the east bank of Slippery Rock Creek, just north of US 422.
The Wilroy Furnace is the only one of the the three furnaces in the Slippery Rock valley still remaining. It was built about 1852 and produced iron until about 1865.

The Wilroy Furnace is on private property, but in the winter, it is sometimes visible from the US 422 bridge over Slippery Rock Creek.
