Lake Arthur Aerial View
This aerial view of Lake Arthur is over the Pleasant Valley Day Use Area beach. The dark colored band extending from the left center of the photograph is an abandoned Middle Kittanning Coal strip mine highwall. The Site 7 marker is near this highwall at the Point Picnic Area, at the tip of the peninsula in this photograph.
The peninsula extending into the lake in the upper left of the photograph is Nealys Point (K), the location of an exposure of glacial lake sediments.
