Presque Isle Geocache Bash

Navigate your way to latitude and longitude coordinates N 42°08.993 W 080°07.997. PISP is sponsoring a “Geo-cache Bash” at the Rotary Pavilion on October 24, 2009.

Registration begins at 9:30 am and the hunt starts at 10 am, so don’t be late!

There will be approximately 15 temporary geocaches and 5 brand new permanent geo-caches hidden at various places throughout the park. Each cache will vary in difficulty level but the more you find the more chances you will have to win prizes! Each cache will contain its own random code which is to be recorded on a data sheet when found.  As participants return to the Rotary Pavilion, tickets will be provided for the number of geo-caches found.  The tickets are used for the prizes that will be drawn at 3:00 pm.

There is a $2 fee for each data sheet. Pre-registration is not required. Bring your own GPS unit and packed lunch or enjoy one of the many local eateries directly outside of the park.
